Gilbert Munoz, PhD

Dr. Gilbert Munoz has more than 18 years of experience as a software quality engineer, business analyst, software technology consultant, and legal analyst. Prior to joining QP he worked in the electronic medical records, software consulting, research, and government (international and national) industries.

Dr. Munoz currently serves as an expert consultant in healthcare IT and audits group. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, M.S in Information and Telecommunications Systems from the Johns Hopkins University, LL.M from the George Washington University Law School and LL.B from the Monterrey Institute of Technology.

In addition to his extensive software industry experience, his professional and research interests fall under software testing, software metrics, healthcare IT law, health information technologies, and international information and communications technology.
