Anna Mathias is a PMP certified Project Manager with a focus in organizing, supporting, and substantively contributing to work products related to Electronic Health Record (EHR) software quality, regulatory, and patient safety assessments. She is a strong leader and team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including direct management experience and training of 15 cross-functional staff on a five-year, first-of-kind quality oversight project for the ONC/HHS.

Experienced in all phases of the project lifecycle, from requests and bids for proposals, to account and stakeholder management and project execution, Anna excels at engaging stakeholders and managing client expectations, and her past experience includes development of organizational structures and relationship building with large EHR vendors.

Anna is experienced in managing long-running and complex litigation cases and Health IT regulatory oversight programs, contributing to and completing RFPs for the REMS industry, and managing and supporting a team of experts’ analysis and guidance involving the safety and quality of software, regulations such as CEHRT and Meaningful Use, ISO Standards, and industry best practices for quality and risk management in Health IT software.

Summary of Qualifications

  • Responsible for managing the expert consultant work product of the 15-person Software Quality Oversight team for a large Electronic Health Record Vendor as contracted under a first of kind 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement administered jointly by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) and the Office of the Inspector General of the United States (OIG)
  • Plan, coordinate, write, edit, and submit final work product to clients
  • Perform and provide support during the audit of a HIT software company’s development lifecycle practices, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of software, with a focus on understanding and mitigating defects that could implicate patient safety or EHR certification
  • Interface with Clients and internal Leadership regarding organizational aspects of projects, including managing documents, information requests, and associated data, as well as tracking progress toward attainment of project milestones
  • Train employees and contract consultants on internal and external computer systems, policies, procedures, and tools
    Assist the Division Vice President with business development activities, procurement of resources, contract review,
    completion of RFPs, and development of internal policies and procedures
