Anna Mathias is a PMP certified Director of Project Management with a focus in organizing, supporting, and substantively contributing to work products related to software litigation, Electronic Health Record (EHR) software quality, regulatory, and patient safety assessments. She is a strong leader and team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including direct management experience and training of 15 cross-functional staff on a five-year, first-of-kind quality oversight project for the ONC/HHS.

Active in all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiating requests and bidding for proposals to managing accounts and executing projects. Anna excels at engaging and communicating with stakeholders to establish reliability and confidence. She has a proven track record of developing organizational structures and building relationships with clients, such as attorneys and major EHR vendors, underscoring her commitment to effective partnership.

Anna is experienced in managing long-running Health IT regulatory oversight programs, contributing to and completing RFPs for the REMS industry, managing and supporting a team of experts in analyzing and advising on software safety and quality, regulations such as CEHRT and Meaningful Use, ISO Standards, and industry best practices for quality and risk management in Health IT software.

Anna regularly manages complex software litigation cases, including patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and breach-of-contract. Her strategic management of litigation processes involves close collaboration with legal teams. Summary of Qualifications

  • Manage multiple ongoing projects including Government Audits, Regulatory Consulting, Litigation Cases, Research Projects, and Med Malpractice Cases
  • Responsible for managing the expert consultant work product of the 15-person Software Quality Oversight team for a large Electronic Health Record Vendor as contracted under a first of kind 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement administered jointly by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) and the Office of the Inspector General of the United States (OIG)
  • Plan, coordinate, write, edit, and submit final work product to clients
  • Perform and provide support during the audit of a HIT software company’s development lifecycle practices, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of software, with a focus on understanding and mitigating defects that could implicate patient safety or EHR certification
  • Interface with Clients and internal Leadership regarding organizational aspects of projects, including managing documents, information requests, and associated data, as well as tracking progress toward attainment of project milestones
  • Train employees and contract consultants on internal and external computer systems, policies, procedures, and tools
    Assist the Division Vice President with business development activities, procurement of resources, contract review,
    completion of RFPs, and development of internal policies and procedures
  • Manages and supports a team of experts’ analysis and guidance involving the safety and quality of software, regulations such as CEHRT and Meaningful Use, ISO Standards, and industry best practices for quality and risk management in Health IT software.
